I’ve been doing some redecorating of this site. Made the Home page a static page under the About cat so I could filter out posts like this I don’t want on the posted with the family blog postings. In retrospect should have used something other than the About cat because now I don’t have anything I can do with About. Also I’m fuzzy about how to place categories on the main menu. I’m really not even certain what its called.

Next step will be to put up (and learn how) another category on the main menu (I can do it when I don’t want it to happen easily enough). That category will essentially be my About page. Maybe I can call it … Genealogy or something like that. I’d like to switch the static home page to Blog category and then have the About cat at the end of the menu and this would have all about me, thoughts like this and stuff about genealogy.

I know I can do this but I just have to understand menu making.
